Employment: one simple word that makes a world of difference in the economic state of our nation right now!
I still plan to post pictures of our new apartment in Rexburg but before I do that, I thought I would post some pictures of where Tyler and I work...or at least the pictures I could get!
Tyler got a job on campus doing catering at BYU-Idaho. He gets to wear nice clothes and sometimes gets to serve general authorities and our school's president at special dinners and lunches. Recently he went to President Clark's house for a dinner party and got to talk with President and Sister Clark! I keep on telling him that if they ask what BYU-Idaho can do to improve he needs to say, "Send a shuttle bus to pick up married students who have to live down the hill, a couple miles from campus with only one vehicle." I also wouldn't mind if he told them to let me wear capris but we all have to pick our battles and I'm going for one step at a time here!

This is where I work...
SAGE DAY SPA: super relaxing, extremely enjoyable, sometimes hectic, but a wonderful environment just the same!

I also just found out today that the perfect position opened for me at Melaleuca: The Wellness Company! Melaleuca is one of the biggest companies in the area that sells all sorts of home, beauty, and wellness products. I have wanted to work for Melaleauca for a long time because they treat their employees well and there is opportunity for growth within the company.
So while I have been working part-time hours at Sage Day Spa, I will also be getting minimal hours at Melaleuca selling wellness products. This along with school and the Mrs. Idaho pageant preparation should keep me busy for the next couple of months!
I am so thankful to have found employment in these hard economic times, especially in the college town of Rexburg, Idaho where even when the economy is booming, jobs are still hard to come by!

what fun places to work! that's awesome. sometimes I wish I had a job outside of the home, but then again I'd be missing Tre's milestones.
keep us posted on your pageant prep!
Britt! i'm so glad you guys found employemnt. The Lord works in mysterious ways and things always seem to work out =)
You can say that again! I really think our generation has been irreversibly changed by the job market and economy. I don't think I will ever take a job for granted, or fully trust employment again, the same goes for Michael. I am thrilled that things are falling in line for you two, love you both :)
congrats on yours and Tyler's jobs. looks like your work is a relaxing area. I wouldn't mind working there. Glad you were able to find work
