Many of you know that I have a passion for pageants.
Yes, I am one of those nerds who takes notes at every pageant whether it's on television or at a live local or state pageant.
Miss Indiana was crowned Miss America on Saturday night. I think she's adorable and I was definitely rooting for her the entire pageant.
I am excited to volunteer with the Miss Falls Valley/Southeastern Idaho pageant here in Idaho and will be the backstage manager for that pageant this year.
With all the pageant season excitement I've been feeling, I have decided to compete in the Mrs. Idaho International Pageant on March 21st!
I have started a new blog which is currently under construction: mrsrexburg2009.blogspot.com.
I am also listed as a contestant on the www.mrsidaho.com website.
Wish me luck for my competition! If anyone would like to come to the Boise area to watch me compete, I would love some more fans!

Good luck...I am sure you will do great!
yeah! U go girl! Im sure u'll do great and be sure to keep me posted on all of the excitement...is there a talent part?!?!?! yeah, call me and tell me all about it!
I am confused. How is it Idaho International? Please explain. Leslie and I watched it and knew you must be taking notes. I was rooting for New York... her answer wasn't very good in the interview though.
That is exciting news! Good luck!
You look fantastic! I am sure you will win.
To answer Lauren's Question:
No, there is no talent portion, as far as I know married pageant lines don't have required talent competitions.
To answer Lori's Question:
International is a pageant LINE just like America or United States. USA is also a pageant line but not a married pageant line. I love the International line because it's very platform and interview based and there is no swim suit competition, only fitness wear. The international pageant line was created to have higher standards than other pageant lines. Teens and Miss also compete in the line. Oh, and if you were born in another country (ie my friend Lauren was born in England) so she could become Mrs. England and compete at the Mrs. International Pageant. That's how it works, hope that wasn't too confusing!
Yay Brittney, I'm so glad you decided to do it!!
Brittany. Sorry!! I meant that! :)
I love the picture! Looks a little country which should work very well for Idaho:) Good luck!
Hi Brittany, I was totally thinking of you when I watched Miss American this year. :) Good luck at your pageant in Idaho! You'll do awesome! Please make sure to keep us updated on the results on here! ~Lisa Tobin
